Nail Folly

Hey All!!!

It's been a long time! I actually can't believe I've let this much time pass with out posting something but for the most part my nails have remained a kinda boring french manicure. It started with a new job interview so I figured I better tone it down a bit LOL. Then they ended up staying that way for I think going on three to four weeks! Whoops. It's just crazy how time has seemed to fly by lately. Must be a sign I am getting old LOL.

For this I used two coats of a kinda of dark watermelon pink by Sinful called Folly and a turquoise by Kleancolor called Catch Me. I figured the ring finger needed to be a different color for good luck! Not that I had too much luck at the Casino on Friday when we went for my friends birthday :( I lost $20. Booo! Just imagine how much new polish I could have bought with that ! For the glittery jewels effect I used Kleancolor's Party Fever over the pink and City Never Sleeps over the turquoise! I totally loved it! All my customers kept telling me it looked like a Mardi Gras party. I guess I'll have to remember that for next Fat Tuesday! Enjoy your evening everyone !!! I can't wait to watch Once Upon a Time!

Easter Party!

Hi all! Sorry it's been awhile, but believe it or not I actually left my polish on for several days with out changing it! Plus, who wants to be at home blogging when the weather has been so great?! I really wanted to paint my nails with something festive for Easter. I still had some Kleancolor polishes that I hadn't tried yet so that pointed me in the perfect direction for this Easter Party look.

I started out with only 1 coat of pretty metallic pink in Avon's speed dry line called Fiesty. It covered really well so I didn't even need a second coat. You couldn't see through it at all, which I loved!

Then I did two coats of an awesome chunky glitter by Kleancolor called Party Fever. It is a clear polish with red dust glitter and then chunky glitter in teal gold and pink. Sooooo pretty!!!

Then I applied about 3 coats of Seche Vite for a smooth finish. I absolutely love the finished look and it reminds me of one of those fancy Ukrainian decorated eggs. Gorgeous! Hope you guys like it too!!! What are some of your favorite looks for Easter???
